Who is Kate Middleton?

Catherine Elizabeth Middleton is the Princess of Wales and one of the senior royals of the British royal family. Known casually as Kate Middleton, she is married to William, Prince of Wales and heir to the British throne. Kate Middleton’s wedding dress was designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen and she wore a tiara that the Queen Mother received from her husband, King George VI, in 1936. The entire wedding reportedly cost about 34 million dollars, out of which 32 million was spent on security alone. She was conferred with the title Duchess of Cambridge by Queen Elizabeth II, shortly before the wedding ceremony.
