So you bought an item on Amazon.com and it didn’t fit or it wasn’t like you expected or maybe you just don’t want it anymore! Here is how to initiate a refund and return…
Not fit? No problemo! Amazon is a great platform to do all your shopping, you can find almost any product you want on Amazon!
Here's how to place a return:
Step 1: Ensure your product meets the requirements for a return:
- No animal or pet hair
- No stretch marks or permanent wrinkles on items
- No deodorant stains
- No broken hooks
- All tags attached
- All original marketing materials included
- No smells other than natural product odours
- Original packaging
- Within 30 days of the original purchase date

Step 2: Log into your Amazon account and click on “Your Account” then scroll to “Your Orders”.
Step 3: Find the product that you want to refund and select “Return or replace items”
Step 4: Amazon will ask you why you are making the return. If you received a size that just doesn't fit right, please select "Bought by mistake".
Step 5: Select the method of refund. Do you want it to be refunded straight to your credit card or refund to your Amazon account balance?
Step 6: Select your return method. Will you drop off the product at the post office? Will you print your own shipping label and drop it off at an Amazon locker? Or do you want UPS to pick the product up at your house? Each method will have a different cost associated with it.
Step 7: Amazon will give you a refund once they receive the product and inspect the product condition.
