Amazon Waist Trainer Review – Top 6 Brands Tested and Ranked

Best Amazon Waist Training Brands Have Been Reviewed and Compared – Curvalicious, FXFord, Pandolah, Ann Darling, Mamaway + Leonisa

With all the options online, how will you decide on the most suitable waist cinching garment for your body and lifestyle? I’ve put together a YouTube video in which I review 6 of the best selling brands on Amazon and give my ratings. In this blog post I will summarize the 25 minute video and give you my key opinions on each waist trainer. My rating are based on five key features: Comfort, Quality, Effectiveness, Discreet + Price. I have worn each waist trainer for a minimum of 2 weeks to give you my honest opinion.

Pandolah: This purple leopard print waist trainer is available in various colors on Amazon. The quality is inferior to all the other waist trainers tested, the buckles are thing and the material is loose. It does not provide adequate support in the boning nor does it have the strength to compress the abdomen like a waist trainer should. It does hide well under clothing because it is so thin (trade off) and it is the cheapest waist trainer at $24.99. I did find it comfortable and very cute.
Comfort: 7/10
Quality: 5/10
Effectiveness: 5/10
Discreet: 8/10
Cost: $24.99

FXFord: This waist trainer was a little bit better in regards to quality. It still lacked thick hooks and double stitching however, it did not have issues with rippling and wrinkling. I like the comfort of this waist trainer (it was too large for me so that may not be an accurate analysis) however I did have my mom try this waist trainer and she loved it. It is affordable at $25.99 only $1 more than Pandolah. It does not come with instructions. It isn’t strong material.
Comfort: 8/10
Quality: 6/10
Effectiveness: 6/10
Discreet: 8/10
Cost: $25.99

Curvalicious: Of course, this is the waist trainer I use the most, I wear it everyday yet it appears to be the least worn. This is because it is made from high quality material and thicker layers. The boning is strong and still flexible and the comfort is superb. I can honestly say this is one of the top 2 waist trainers in quality. It helped my waist get smaller by 2 inches. It is still affordable at $27.99 and Curvalicious is always offering discount coupons on their waist trainers.
Comfort: 10/10
Quality: 9/10
Effectiveness: 10/10
Discreet: 9/10

Ann Darling: This is a latex waist trainer and deffinitely appears more intimidating than the hot pink one! Quality wise – it is great. Very large hooks, strong materials and strong boning. It is deffinitely good for it’s purpose and that is to heat up the core and store heat there – this generate sweat. So I recommend this for the gym or any exercise time. I wouldn’t wear it throughout the day because it isn’t ver comfortable. When I wore it all day i developed bruising on my ribs.
Comfort: 6/10
Quality: 9/10
Effectiveness: 9/10
Discreet: 6/10
Cost: $28.99

Mamaway: This is a postpartum belly band. I loved this idea because belly wrapping after pregnancy is something that the women in my family have been doing for generations; it helps them bounce back into shape. This is sort of a high-tech version of the cloth they used. This belly band is comfortable and flexible. I liked that is was adjustable and you could decide how tight you want it based on your belly size/bloat/comfort. I didn’t like the velcro because it made it hard to sit in and you could hear the velcro as I bent down. I think this is something to wear on top of clothing rather than underneath. I have no doubt this belly wrap works. Just like with all waist trainers, keep it up for 3 months and you will see the results. It is really expensive at $99. An alternative to this would be to purchase a waist trainer and adding some foam inside. This will be soft on the tender skin of new moms and will deliver the same effects as the belly wrap.
Comfort: 9/10
Quality: 9/10
Effectiveness: 9/10?
Discreet: 5/10
Cost: $99.99

Leonisa: This is a body suit body shaper/faja. I’ve never tried something like this but I understand it’s purpose. This is not necessarily a waist trainer but it gives the body a “sleek” apperance. Good to wear under tight clothing to tuck in rolls. I didn’t find it super comfortable especially with the cut out hole to urinate through… I would only wear this with longer tight dresses but not for every day use. It doesn’t have the structure and strength to really tighten your belly fat.
Comfort: 8/10
Quality: 8/10
Effectiveness: 8/10
Discreet: 10/10
Cost: $59.99
